not that im using it nor that i ever consumed any of it...but i knew quite alot of my friends that have been using this contraceptive pills for years...

quite disturbing when everytime watching tv here slalu jugak keluar these type of advertisements...

below 2 are the ones yg i managed to snap...yg lain2 tak sempat...

basically its an advert to promote free legal consultation, lawsuit advice to those yasmin, yaz, ocella etc consumers that experienced side effects from the drugs...

.

ok maybe this news dah ramai yg tau but its pretty new to me...i just knew that the manufacturer of Yasmin, namely Bayer paid USD 402 Million to settle Yazmin & Yaz lawsuits last July 2012...

.

those women involved in the lawsuits have claimed that they suffered variety of ailments (such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, blood clot that may lead to heart attack and worst STROKE, severe allergic reactions, difficulty in breathing, liver problems, vaginal bleeding, rashes, vision changes, easily get tired etc) after consuming these contraceptive pills...

with the settlement on the lawsuit dh boley nampak that these pills not safe to be consumed for a long period of time...

i suggest that my friends yg dah lama consume these pills to have ur health check-up done pronto!!!

and

to those yg thinking of consume it, to consult ur doctor / gynea before starting any...

for me...if its not serious, then why the sudden surge of this kind of advertising, no???

it has been approved for public advertisement...n now can be seen on all public transport in new york and 10city-subways...

i ade takut sikit la nak turun downtown dah skang...not just becoz the people here "freakingly friendly", but takut the consequence of what might happen tgh jalan2 kat town especially area muslim community...

this advert was initially rejected by the New York's MTA (metropolitan transportation authority) agency as they said it was demeaning to islam...

even new york times pon report that "New Yorkers will soon encounter another potentially inflammatory rendering of Islam"

but then was overturned when a federal judge ruled the ad is protected under the frist amendment
