my visit to the 1st LV maison in southeast asia!

haritu dah mencemar duli at Johor Premium Outlet...n i bet ramai yg pg sana cuti christmas haritu kan! heard that theres massive crowd @ JPO...gosh mmg salute la sapa2 yg sanggup redah JPO cuti2 tue...

hmmmmm i wonder on 26th haritu, JPO ade buat BOXING DAY ke tak!??!

hehehhe

the time i pg JPO tue was on our way back from singapore...
while im in singapore sempat la jugak mencemar duli to the 1st Louis Vuitton maison in southeast asia region yooo!

its the 12th maison in whole wide world...and also the 1st with an island concept!

;) if u happen to visit singapore, do pay them a visit located at marina bay sands shopping mall
a unique stand alone glass and steel crystal pavilion! replicating a ship with nautical inspired interiors!

its ZAMNNNNNNNNN HUGEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
u can access the LV Island in three different ways via

1. an outdoor bridge;

2. by boat, disembarking at a jetty;

3. and from the marina bay sands mall

i came from inside the mall and theres LV bookstore as u enter it...

theres a play area for kids jgk!

so u can let ur kids to play around while waiting for mummy and daddy bz shopping...

not to worry, siap ade kids guardian / baby sitter lagie

then u will pass thru a tunnel that they called "The Espace" (an underwater tunnel that connect the marina bay sands shopping mall with the LV maison pavilion), where one side of it showcasing the 15 international artists' artworks that revolves on nautical theme...

on the other side of the wall pulak, u can have a look of the vintage collection of LV luggage as early of 20th century being displayed...

owh sangatttttttttttttttttttttttt teringin nak ade one vintage luggage LV yg boxie tue...hahahha dream on baybeh!

u will find an ascending ‘travelator’ which leads u to the centre of the pavilion...

at the end of the tunnel, proceed ur way up the steep and high escalator and wallahhhhhhhhhhh u'll find urself at the center of the LV maison!

on ur right where u can find all the classic monogram, damier vernis etc collections...

it is sooooooooooooooooooo zamn huge!

superlove the concept...open space, very relaxing!

(richard deacon, renowned large-scale sculptures made a one huge hanging sculpture called "Upper Strut" specifically for LV maison singapore)

theres 2 storey for the display area...

at the mazzenine level more on the luggage collection...

and also if u wanna have ur mon monogram or other item personalize, then this is the level where u wanna be at...

whats interesting about this particular LV boutique is that, it does not cater just for woman...theres somethg for everyone...kids and for the guys too!

u guys can browse thru happily of the wide selection for u bloke! theres a special area for the newly launch "Made for Travel" men's clothing range...seriously the biggest men's section in LV i ever came across...

so no more whining while waiting for ur wife or partner "lost" herself in the boutique, ofcourse doing what women do best - SHOPPING!...hahhaah

guys will definitely "lost" themself too here!

and even if u r not the shopping for LV type of person, do not afraid of getting urself mati kutu! u can always chill out at their outdoor 'lanai' area resembles a deck of a luxury yacht overlooking the marina bay sands promenade!

i pg tue late afternoon so the view some what so-so from my eyes...

i heard that it offers a splendid view during the night time where 'white-ball' on the lake will light up and form a sea of white froth-bubble-like scenery...

owh i so wish i can go back during night time and snap a scenery of it!

well, theres always next time right...but this one visit to the 1st LV maison in southeast asia is sooo special to me that i will treasure it thru out my life

when we arrived its about 6.45pm...so crowd takde la giler byk sgt...ive saw few ppl post pictures in JPO giler ramai org...kene q panjang sume nak masuk coach, burberry...

mase i pg tue ramai jugak org tp not so crowded la...

even kalau nak q pon tak ramai...take an example nak q masuk coach ade la dlm 6-8ppl infront of us...takes around 7mins camtu...so quite ok...

what i think about JPO...

is it worth going!?!?!

is it worth to shop here in JPO?!?!

first and foremost, to note that the item sold in premium outlets bukan the same item yg jual at the retail boutique currently...

in premium outlets is where all the OFF SEASON item being sold...kire yg last season item tak terjual kat retail boutique, they brought it over to the premium outlet to sell it off with discounted price...

.

and some of it is item yg tak terjual at retail boutique due to damage or quality not as per standard...these only SOME of it...mostly baju2 laaa...

.

and some of the item being sold was purposely manufactured only for premium outlets...yg nie slalu nye macam design sama tapi material and colour lain dari ape yg jual kat retail boutique in KL

.

and also to note that my opinion is based on my experience...as ive been to few other Premium Outlets in US previously, so i tend to compare the price between them...

minus the flight ticket going to states and accomodation kat sana, kalau compare apple to apple on the item being sold, mmg JPO mahal!!!

saw few items yg i beli mase i pg dessert hils premium outlet and woodbury common premium outlet n i remembered the price...the same item being sold in JPO way wayyyy expensive than yg i beli kat US...itu dah campur kire sales tax balabalalabalbala dia sume...still JPO mahal...

another thing, the ones being sold in JPO takde variety sgt...

design wise...

tak byk design sgt...yg ade jual pon tak menarik sgt...

tak example kasut vincci...murah mmg giler murah! u can get a pair of ballerina for RM15! tp design tak byk! colour limited!

mr.doc included...mase kat singapore mmg purposely refrained himself from shopping at the marina bay sands...dia mmg dh semangat nk beli jeans...mase kat new york mmg stock up levi's jeans, gap jeans n guess jeans...

for handbags plak, take example coach...design variety wise ok laaaa...the outlet pon tak besar sgt pon...so dont expect they bring every design in states to JPO...price wise, expensive than US outlets, but cheaper than retail boutique in KL

ferragamo quite ok tho...coz i found clutch yg i suke dari dulu dah ade jual kat JPO...n shoes collection in ferragamo pon not bad...price wise dlm RM900-1300 per pair...bg i ok la n ofcourse jgn compare ngan outlets in paris, milan florence kan...definitely way wayyyy more cheaper in europe for european designer brands...

as for kids item ------> MMG BERBALOI!

thats the verdict from my sisters in law la tapi...i tk la pg tengok in detail kids item...

but from what my SIL said, gap for kids & baby murah2...esprit, poney, guess murah2 jgk...u can get those branded baju for RM10-60 per item...design wise plak byk variety...maybe mase pg tue dia baru re-stock up kot...so size senang nk cari n variety of design too...

so for those yg ade baby n kids tue berbaloi kot borong baju kat sini...

all in all, if u pernah and had a chance to visit other premium outlets in US or the outlets in europe, then dont expect much from JPO...u pegi skali nak merasa ok la...n im sure u will find it not interesting as u tend to compare with ur previous visits...

but for others, worth to visit JPO especially if u r looking for baby & kids item...

JPO is expanding...so my opinion was based on my current visit...im sure next year they gonna be better and offers more to the crowd...

Last raya haji, my dad menggunakan kuasa veto nya for not allowing my mum to cook anythg!!! Yeap NO COOKING!!!

Hes concern on my mum’s health issue…

I still remember when I was in dubai fasting month haritue, mmg byk sgt dugaan and one of them is where my mum sakit due to dissecting thoracic aortic aneurysm …in laymans word – saluran darah bahagian dada terkoyak…

I mmg dah sedih sangat coz im not able to be by her side…nasib bermenantukan seorang doc, atleast we have someone with a good medical background yg boleh monitor my mum 24/7 alongside with the specialist…so mr.doc la yg keep me updated and posted on my mum’s health condition… all details mmg I yg dapat tau dulu from mr.doc…so mmg takley nak tahan sedihnye…

ade time tue when specialist suruh my dad & family sit down anak beranak discuss in choosing the best treatment plan for my mum…this was done without my mum’s knowledge at 1st…dok suh discuss dgn anak2 dulue…then bru break the news to my mum… owh mmg sedih giler mase tue…I everytime call my mum mmg tak boley tahan nak nangis!

Bile nak nangis je, trus I cakap “ok la ma…got to go…nak buat keje jap”…or ade je alasan I bagi coz takmo dgr obvious sgt I sebak tahan nangis…mmg heartbroken giler mase tue…felt like taking the 1st flight out dan dan tue jgk…but mr.doc reassured me that he will take care of my mum and closely monitor her…so only to HIM I berserah mase tue…

n alhamdullillah she recovered well nearing eid ;)

so ended up ade la dlm 3-4 jenis rendang my mum buat everytime raya…

PENGSAN!

Buat yg satu nie pon dah setengah nyawa I buat!

No wonder my dad tak kasi my mum cooking for raya dah…as she always want to make the original from scratch…mmg very tiring…exhausting!!!

***Recipe below measured for every 500gm meat***

WHAT U NEED?

500gm chicken potong ikut suka hati hehehe(boley substitute with daging jugak…so kalau guna daging, kene potong cube2, lawan urat)
500gm santan (preferably santan fresh…Guna santan kotak pon boley, tp kate td nak resipi “asli” kannnn)
15 ulas bawang merah – hiris halus2
3 batang serai – mayang halus2
3 helai daun kunyit – mayang halus2
2inchi halia – hiris halus2
1inchi kunyit hidup – hiris halus2
1cawan cili boh (ikut tahap kepedasan u nak…cili boh preferably yg buat sendiri…Nt I cite kat bawah camne nak buat)

HOW TO? 1. 1st thing 1st kene prepare kan cili boh…u can always use the ready made chili boh jual kat supermarket tue, tp rasa dia kureng skets la…if nak buat sendiri, potong2 cili kering dlm 2 genggam and rebus until it soften…then toss kan cili kering tue n blend it all with ¾ of water…heat up 5 tablespoon of oil…bila minyak dah panas then tumis cili boh mixture tue sampai naik minyak…then tutup api, set it aside
2. One of the hazabun part nk buat rendang nie is where u have to hiris and mayang bawang merah, serai, daun kunyit, halia and kunyit tue veryyyyyy thinly!!! Mmg pengsan ok! Part potong2 je pon dah take up 1.5hrs!!! n never in my life before this masuk dapur luka2 bagai…I ended up terhiris the tip of my fingers yo!!! Darah berjurai2! Ahhahahaha all just becoz ngantok nk mati potong2 bawang sume…tak pasal2 sape yg makan rendang I haritu jadi raja bersiongggggggggggg! Hehehe…so yeah, hiris mayang bahan2 tue halus2 ye… 3. Masuk all bahan2 yg di hiris and mayang tadi (except kunyit hidup) dlm kuali together with cili boh…tuang santan and masuk kan ayam…basuh tangan and gaul mix all of them together…kire bagi “mesra” gitu4. Dah mesra baru pasang api…make it on medium heat…gaul gaul gaul…then masuk kan kunyit hidup…season with salt & sugar…and gaul lagi and lagi and lagi and tungguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu la sampai rendang pedas tue kering!!! Which takes about 3hours!!! *thanx to ipad peneman ladyverde mase tgh tunggu rendang kering*…

peringatan – SILA JGN TIDO inbetween stir coz ade possibility terlalai sampai tetibe ade bau hangit dari kitchen! Muahahhahahahhahahha hancurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rendang yo! Dinasihatkan betunggu tangga depan kuali ape cara sekalipon…hehehhe

n when mr.doc convey his intention to visit Darussyifa', kawan dia trus offer nak tlg...n thru his help, alhamdullillah we got to meet ustaz haron din personally...his parents help us to booked a number...alhamdullillah semua dipermudahkan...

mmg ramai sangat org pg berubat dkt clinic tue...

n theres even quota to meet ustaz haron din...in a day beratus2 org dia boley jumpe but only to a certain limit...the rest dia handover to his anak2 murid...

so just datang je...n yeap, no need to booked for an appointment...dia go by walk in...

so not to worry if u dtg2 je ke darussyifa' tue nanti, tgk ramai sgt org u ingat dah takde slot lg dah...insyaallah ade...but its a matter u dapat meet ustaz haron din personally or u will be attended by his anak2 murid...either way insyaallah sama berkat dia...

the numbers we were booked for were 91 and 92...

and thats the slot for 9am!!!

so u imagine brape ratus ustaz haron din jumpe satu hari if the day ends at 5pm!!!

from what we were told, total per day can reach up till 800ppl!!!

its actually a bungalow that they converted it to be a clinic...very cosy place...

and alhamdullillah dtg2 je takyah tunggu lama sgt...

bile sampai je bru turn giliran yg ke 72...

and owh, it is advisable when u nk dtg berubat, u bring along a bottle of mineral water...yg 1.5L tue minimum...but if u terlupa or taknak bawak, not to worry, u can get it at the center itself...

mmg dorang ade provide jual air2 botol mineral nie...

so bile u sampai je trus pg kat counter beli air mineral...

and then find a spot nk tunggu...

mase tgh tunggu tue i scanned thru the hall...perghhh mmg ramai nye umat! ade yg dtg sorang but mostly dtg berteman...tua, muda, baby, kids sume ade...and they all looked 'normal'...ade laaa satu dua budak yg terbaring je...which i assume mesti dia demam or sakit kot...

so we waited for our turn...

while mr.doc bz bace newspaper, being me mmg tak sah kalau tak snap2 gamba kan...tp sebab segan sgt so i snapped a few only...then the extra time i had i layan tgk2 org lagi...

byk yg datang bercouple...suami isteri i assumed...

and when our number is up, we were called to a small room tunggu giliran nk jumpe ustaz...

there are few other patients in that small room...about 8 of them sebelum and selepas i...

n being the observant me, i checked them out...

semua suami isteri...they chatted happily...and from my eyes, they seemed normal...like me

they called patients number 89 and 90...a very young couple...they were the ones before us...wife clad in red baju kurung and husband in black jacket...very polite...mase tgh tunggu tue i sempat la senyum kat minah tue...n she replied by smiling back at me...very sweet...

and bile the couple dah masuk, they called our name...dia suh berdiri tunggu depan pintu...

and sampaiiiiiiiii je i depan pintu tue...................

"WAAAAAAARGHHHHHHH!!! WARGHHHHHHHHH!!! WWWAARGHHHHH!!!"

that lady yg dari tadi meracau n ganas2 in 2 seconds SENYAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP ok!

we were then invited to enter the room...n the lady in red baju kurung sat just next to me with her husband standing by her side...

again i looked at her and when im about to smile at her, i perasan somethg different...

her face very gloomy...almost "dark"...lain giler...

she was facing down...i pandang lagi sebab tak puas hati napa lain sgt dgn yg i tgk kat luar td...

and her eyes were all REDDDDDDDDD!!!

trus i alih kan pandangan i, i move my body away from her...mengengsot rapat2 ke mr.doc!

at that moment jgk i perasan ustaz haron din walking towards us and duduk betul2 depan i and that red baju kurung lady...

dia pandang that lady...

dia kepit kaki that lady inbetween his legs...and a few men dtg next to her and pegang badan, kepala, tangan dia kuat2...

dalam hati i.........."AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH SUDAHHHHHHHHHHHH"

that lady seriously dekat giler ngan i...mane tak gabra i...

she kept looking at the men and ustaz haron din depan dia tp not in agressive mode...n when ustaz haron din started baca2 doa, thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn SHE STARTED TO BE ALL MERACAU & AGGRESSIVE!!!

for those who know me, when im 1000000% scared, i tak menjerit...i ended up crying n shaking!!!

I CRIED SILENTLY and i was SHAKING MADLY!!!

n the next couple after us masuk bilik tue while waiting for their turn...

the couple sat beside mr.doc...husband and wife...both quite big size and they smile at us, while watching ustaz attending us

ustaz haron din glanced thru our paper...he read our name and our mothers name outload...and proceed with the ritual...

we were both required to sit next to each other really tight...dia suh pegang both my mineral water and mr.doc's side by side...and our hands should be locked together...

tangan kene genggam kuat2...and he started off the treatment...

ustaz baca doa2 and ade part tue dia usap perut mr.doc and then dia usap perut i...and within 5minutes - ALL DONE!
