maybe sebab dah 10bulan jadi tai tai pagi tengahari petang malam asyik masak sendiri kannnn...

so balik malaysia cam dah terase malas nak masak!

hehehhe

plus back here food is readily available...

teringin nak masak karipap? drive keta g kedai makcik jual kuih balakang rumah...

nak nasi lemak? drive ke stall kecik pak abu tepi longkang beli nasi lemak lauk sotong...

kalau kat OZ dulue, nak makan karipap uli la sendiri...

so here goes another entry for

EASY PEASY

LADYVERDE'S

RECIPE

!!!

ingredient

1 cup of isi ikan

(ade cakap isi ikan kembung...ade yg cakap isi ikan selayang...mase tue kat OZ mane ade ikan kembung selayang bagai....so i belasah gune isi ikan blue grenadier! muahaha belasah je...janj isi ikan!)

1 cup of tepung kanji

(i use tapioca starch)

salt

(ikut tahap kemasinan masing2 hehehe)

sikit giler kan ingredient die...hehehhe

.

method

1. once u have clean the fish, cut it into small cube n blend it up...blend sampai hancur!

2. add in the tepung kanji bit by bit and salt...then uli sampai jadi macam dough...then my friend cakap kene hempas2 kasi dough tue padat...so as bile goreng nt tak hancur...so u hempas la kuat2 dough tue atas meja...hehehe

3. then take a small portion roll it panjang2, cut it ikut suka nak besar mane.......then gorengggggggggg!!!

boley jugak rebus...tp mr.doc n i tak suke rebus...we prefer goreng

as for sos cili dia plak...if nak buat sendiri i use this recipe below

cili

gula melaka

asam jawa

vinegar

tepung jagung

salt & sugar

.

blend cili, gula melaka n asam jawa...

heat up quater cup of water and add in cili blend tadi sampai mendidih...

add vinegar, sugar n salt

rasa dah cukup then add in corn flour for thickening

the best thing was, Woodbury mmg tgh ade After Thanksgiving Madness Sale...

starts from 26-28Nov and stores open as early as 8am to 10pm!

so mmg excited giler la kannnn nk bershopping!

sampai2 je mmg antara yg terawal laa

tapi kalau que macam kat coach outlet bawah nie, mmg confirmmmmm kene beli hot chocolate sebagai peneman kedinginan

our plan to go to new york dah berkurun dah actually...

to be specific, since 2008 lagie...

1st time postpone since my sil pregnant...

2nd time plan in year 2009 pon tak jadi jugak since that time tgh outbreak H1N1...

year 2010 bru la plan menjadi...

itu pon risau jugak for the 2nd wave of H1N1...tp alhamdullillah still under control...

.

as usual, we prefer to go for free & easy...

plan sendiri, booking sendiri

we took qatar airways the whole return trip...

depart at 3.45am, 5 days after my birthday (26th november 2010)

transit at doha...travelling time from KL to doha about 8hrs

and from doha to new york (jfk airport) plus another 14hrs!!!

mmg kebas bontot okkkkk!

hahaha

service wise, i still prefer our national carrier MAS...way better service, polite and cleaner cabin

qatar offered the cheapest air fare at the time of booking...

so kene la rajin2 survey mase matta fair tue k

talking about check in baggage...

to note that, for qatar airways baggage allowance bukan 30kg ye!

per passenger is allowed to check in 2 bags with each not to exceed 23kg!!!

hahahhahahha

so u actually have 46kg baggage allowance per person!

best kan!

buttttttttttttttttttt...the total dimension per bag must not exceed 158cm!

(total dimension = length + height + width)

owhhh yg ini mmg sgt menguji kesabaran...

as both mr.doc n me are frequent traveller...so mane2 travel pon hangkut 1 big bag n 2 cabin bags n make up bag...kasi sumbat both of our stuff in one big bag...senang!

takde la nak manage byk sgt bag...plus ladyverde mmg jenis nak travel in style melenggang sokmo...

muahahhaha

that 1 big bag confirm lebih 158cm total dimension!

yg not exceed 158cm nie medium size bag n smaller...

so mmg kalut la mencari bag baru

almaklum laaaa shopping list nye, belom sampai new york lagi dah berjela2 panjang

as said, flight from KL to new york total hours almost 24hrs!!!

so takde makne nye nak bermake up bagai naik flight

arrive in doha around 6.30am

then depart for new york at 8am and arrive JFK International Airport at 2.15pm...

since we go by free n easy, mmg dah booked transportation and accomodation sendiri...

if u wanna travel to US mmg easy sgt nak cari reliable car hire n accomodation...just google it, bersepah car hire company n hotels / service apartments available...

.

so to those yg ade hire car, take the AirTrain then proceed to Federal Circle Station

.

.

the airport is very systematic...

surely susah nak sesat

u can make calls to ur hotel confirming ur arrival or u can even call them for booking if u havent done urs

convenient kan

as for transportation, we booked a 12 seater ford!

hahahha

gabak besar kan!

coz there are 11 of us

so harus la sewa big van...hehehe

nways, in new york we stayed at HAMPTON INN, Middletown New York...

one obvious reason we choose to stay in middletown coz dekat with the premium outletsssssssssssss!

the main objective for the trip is shop shop shop kan!

so if stay in the city agaks jauh nk travel to the premium outlets...

hehehhe

so asal boley je nak accomodation yg near tempat mengirai!

and i loveeeeeeeeeeee the breakfast spread!

i had waffle every morning!

love it!

trus teringin nak beli waffle maker...konon kat malaysia nt nak buat n makan...tp i cant forsee myself to wake up earlier just to prepare the mixture n all...hahahha

so tak jadi beli
