i always wanted my 1st bag from the house of chanel to be a classic flap...

but an unfortunate event happened february last year, left me with a search of a new replacement for my bag belasahan!

since 'pemergian' hampstead ke tangan pencuri durjana (takpe i dah maaf kan his action), im badly in need of a new everyday bag...

for me, my hampstead mm had served the best role for 'bag belasahan'...its lightweight, adjustble strap, spacious, elegant, versatile n durable really made at the top of the list of my favourite bag at that time...

when deciding for the replacement, below chanel east west shopping tote trus came on my mind!

been eyeing for it since its release for the spring / summer 2008!

so i decided to forgo missy classic flap and go for priority n need basis 1st!

coz i know insyaallah one day it eventually will be mine...

&

indeed she is!

i still remember the wee morning of 30th april 2010 in milan...

i woke up to a gentle kiss and the warmth from his hand caressing my cheek...

i smile a sweet smile...

he then whispered

"happy anniversary hunn.............and i wanna grow old with u"

i hugged him tightly!

then he murmured...

"jom pegi chanel"

and yes, uve imagine it right bebeh!!!

i was like a kid in a candy store jumping on the bed and around the room!

and without being asked, i straight went into the bathroom to get ready!

which is unusual for me coz slalu nye i would have crawled back into the duvet for another 15-30mins snooze

becoz terlalu excited sangat, i jotted down a wrong address for the chanel boutique!

which ended up us sesat larat for about 1hour 10minutes!

serious ok!

we indeed asked few local people for direction n to tell u the truth harammmm non of them know where CHANEL is!

with the language barrier n all make it even worst!

nak sedap kan hati i said to myself that maybe their pronounciation of chanel different than mine

dah hampir putus harapan tue, i decided to give it one last try...

i scanned around...

finding for someone........that might help me eventually...

my eyes caught this one guy...gay! (no pun intended)...stylish!

dgn tak malu nye i said hi and asked away!

tak sia2 i ketepikan prinsip "dont judge a book by its cover"

coz he definitely knows his stuff!

he then guided us and thanx to his hand-drawn-map, we made it safe and sound at chanel!!!

before entering the boutique ive set a low expectation for the availability of stock...

as i remembered previously ade anon comment saying that susah nak dpt ready stock for classic flap n gst...

plus with the euro at its lowest at that time n rumour flying around on the speculation of the soon price hike for classic flap, prepared me for the dissapointment words...

but alhamdullillah...

i think its our lucky day!

even all of my customer bags pon dapat!

and alhamdullilah again, we were entertained by such friendly n nice sales associate

i tried almost every bag in the boutique, the ones yg caught my eyes je la ofcourse...

mr.doc strongly suggest that i go for lambskin in ghw...as it looks more elegant, polish n "softer & demure looking"...he said

i already have lambskin with silver hardware east west tote,

so i agreed on the gold hardware but made up my mind on the caviar instead to be my 17th designer handbag acquisition!

as im a big frame lady...n with my height n all, maxi suits me just nice...

i loveeeeeeee slant black better coz it gives a 'softer' finishing look!

so heres some tips n ways to apply false eyelashes if u are wondering

some people are blessed with long and curly eyelashes but not me!

and thanks to false eyelashes!

this is all base on my experience and regime...for those 1st timer might find it hard at 1st...but once dah slalu buat, pejam mate je boley buat ok!

they are few types...the full length one and the individual lashes...

the easiest one to apply is the full length as below...

before applying falsie, make sure ur eyelids are clean...coz kalau oily or damp, ur falsie susah nak lekat

.

.

then make sure the length is right...coz some falsie may be wider than your eyes...test dulu...hold them on ur eyelid and match it up with ur own original eyelashes...trim the extras to get the right fit...n make sure to trim the outer side tau not the inner side!

.

.

some might curl their lashes with eyelash curler dulue...but i usually skip this coz malas!

TIPS FOR BEGINNER!

prior to apply ur falsie, might help if u apply a layer of mascara coz it helps the falsie to stick while adjusting!

then apply the glue at the bottom edge of the falsie n make sure u put a tiny extra bit at both ends...

TIPS FOR BEGINNER!

apply the glue with a toothpick!

.

.

then u let the glue become tacky!

so it will stick easily...

wait n blow for about 15seconds camtu for it to dry...then start apply it to ur eyelid...

this one quite tricky...it all depends on ur comfortability whether to start from center or from inside corner or from outside corner...

but i usually start from outer corner!

;)

so hold the outer edge of ur falsie and apply it along the upper lash line...press n hold the falsie as close to the outside corner and work it inwards...

&

let em dry!

TIPS FOR BEGINNER!

if tak confident, try to use tweezer!

hold at the middle of the falsie instead...n match it at the middle of ur upper lash line!

after dah agak2 dry tue, use an eyelash curler to curl the falsie along with ur own lashes

some might add another round of mascara, but i usually dont

then apply liquid eyeliner on ur upper lash line...

might help tp cover any smudge n gives a more refine look!

this is the easiest buah melaka resipi i can find!

senang giler nak buat!

dulu i tot buah melaka nie la antara traditional delicacies yg remeh nak buat...

turn out, its kinda easy...

provided all the ingredients dah ade laaa kan

what u need?

1 cup of tepung pulut

pandan leaves

(lupe nak amek gamba...hahaa...blend about 3 pandan leaves with 1/3cup of water...filter it and separate the juice aside)

gula kabung / gula melaka

(grate or crush it into small cubes)

2 drops of green colouring

(boley je nak letak colour ape2...nak kasi meriah n for fun, colourful can attracts children to eat!)

kelapa parut + salt

(yes! bersyukur la wahai rakyat malaysia coz kalau nak kelapa parut boley main order je "mamak, kelapa parut satu!" @ "bang, bg kelapa parut sebijik bang"...here kelapa mmg ade jual...jual sebijik2 tue! tp camne nak grated kan die?!?!?!? haaaaaaaaaa jgn tak tau!!! dah la takde parang...camne cara i pecah kan kelapa tue???! i g baling kuat2 dgn sepenuh tenaga atas lantai ok!!! PRAKKKK berkecai! n then dengan bersungguh2 i cilok swiss knife mr.doc n grate gune blade yg bergerigi tue ok! semangatttt coz nak sgt buat buah melaka...part tue mmg gilerrrrrr challenging!...lepas dari tue, jgn harap gune kelapa parut lagi! beli je yg dah siap Fine Dessicated Coconut! as below! muahahhaha...yes dasar pemalas! tp saye suke! muahahha)

how to prepare?

1. mix tepung pulut dgn juice pandan bit by bit & add in 2 drops of green colouring, till u form a dough which u can mold...n make sure adunan tak melekat sgt

2. cubit sikit and leperkan dlm bentuk bulat slightly bigger than a shape of 50cents

3. place a small amount of grated or a cube of gula melaka / gula kabung in the middle and cover it up...gentel kasi bulat...put it aside...make sure letak atas tepung (plain flour / tepung gandum ke) bile dah siap so that it wont stick to the surface

4. boil up water and drop all the pieces in (make sure u dont overcrowd them)

6. its cooked when it floats...take them out carefully n toss it aside

7. roll them up in the fine dessicated coconut + salt (or kelapa parut + garam)

WALLAHHHH!
