here is the review for my facial session @ LA MER, MidValley

as said, this is my 1st experience with facial whatsoever thingy...
so it might be biased to a certain extent since i havent had any experience before to benchmark with

anyhooo
my 1st facial experience rezeki nye dapat kat LA MER
after calling few centers to book for an appointment, at last dapat jugak last minute cancellation slot available on last SATURDAY @ 11am
.
.
from home, i didnt put any make-up on...purposely since i thought that later nak trus buat facial, so why the heck nak make-up bagai kan...so i drove to midvalley and arrived 11am sharp infront of the counter...
excited la katekan...muahahahha...

.
i was greeted by this "La Mer Expert" (thats what they call themselves)...her name is Sinyi...slim slender petite chinese la mer expert ;)

.
i was then asked to have a sit at the corner of the counter...
am not sure why at 1st, but heck, im embracing the moment!
(owh i love the deco of La Mer counter, 1stly coz its white! secondly ade that marine life aquarium with colourful fish)

she came and asked me few questions
i.e
my skin type
any specific concern like dryness, pigmenation, fine line etc

i was then asked to slip on slippers provided...
nak jugak amek gamba kan...n klo boley nak rembat jugak, but slipper kat umah tue sape nak pakai ;p hehehhe)
then she ushered me to d back...
the moment i entered d room, i was welcomed by the sound of waves, ALL WHITE deco, another big aquarium and a soothing smell (cant describe the exact smell...tapi mmgggggg sangat relaxinggggggggg...LOVE IT!!! hmmm cam marine algea...ade ke such smell...hehehhee)

and then she asked me to get myself comfortable...so i slipped on the robe provided...
owhhhhhhh the bed / chair sangattttttt comfyyyyyyyy hokey!!!
it contoured according to ur body n sangat la empuk!
klo la boley beli satu letak kat tv hall...hahhaha berangan...

ok then we started off by using a generous amount of The Cleansing Fluid...
owh personally, i have this at home and i have been using it not just as my optimal first step to my daily cleansing regime, but as a make-up remover aswell...so kire 2-in-1 la...no need to buy separate make-up remover...hehehehe

then she applied The Cleansing Lotion for a thorough cleansing yet maintaining the skin's moisture...
i really wanna emphasis here that every bit of products used, were applied in generous amount!!! mmg sangat tak kedekutttttt!!! (not like what n how ive been using it to-date...ahahahaha) .

owh evrytime die apply it on my face, die massage2 muke skali...
sungguh best muka ku di massage2 sebegitu rupe!!!

then rinsed off with a warm towel!!!
owhhh sungguh legaaaaa!!!
kelegaan nya macam u soak ur tired feet after a long day of walking with heels.........in a bucket of warm water!

next step, she added up The Refining Facial with The Cleansing Lotion and massage it onto my face...
this is to smooth and brighten the skin aswell as to exfoliate the skin thus revealing the skin's freshest surface...then rinsed off with warm water...for personal usage, i usually use this refining facial as a scrubber...once every 3 days...everytime after gune, terase muke putih skets...hehehehe

pastue she applied The Tonic...
(just to share my experience with previous products...ive used various toner from cli*nique, est*ee and SKI*I...and for me all of these are tooooo "chemical-ly" (verde's dictionary) for my face...when applied, i perasan my face will get itchy...but not with La Mer Tonic! bukan nak promo ape...tp memang kenyataan...and thats one of the main reason why i change to la mer! ;) ahah)

after toner tue, she applied The Concentrate
just a few drops can help to restore skin's suppleness and smoothness...

then gune Creme de La Mer for mask!!!
seriously...for all this while, ive been using my 30ml of creme de la mer that will last me for 7 months...but for this facial session, they use 50ml for one-time...and for mask!!!
agaks terkejut jugak la with the amount used...
not just my face being mask-ed by Creme de La Mer, she even applied it on my neck, and my shoulder!!!
hahahahha...merase la my neck n shoulder witn the miracle creme!!!

and for lips, they applied The Lip Balm...
owhhhhhh i am sooo in love with this lip balmmm!!!
its very coolllllllllll!!!
and it smell and taste chocolate mint!

while waiting for the mask to dry up, she worked on my hands...
so dapat la merase my whole hands being La Mer-red! hehehhee...die gune The Cleansing Fluid, The Cleansing Lotion + The Refining Facial...

after 10mins of hand massage, she rinsed off the mask...
and to prepare the skin to receive and boost the transformational benefits of Crème de la Mer, The Hydrating Infusion was sweeped over my face, neck and shoulder

then i had The Lifting Face Serum & The Lifting Intensifier

then i had The Eye Concentrate gently rubbed around my eye area with its applicator...
never tried this before, but its defintely worth it for those yang ade tired eyes...sangat relaxing!

and as for the ultimate moisturizer,
Crème de la Mer was then applied again...

a generous amount of The SPF 18 Fluid was then worn over Crème de la Mer as to act as a generator boosting the efficacy...
.

and for a final touch,
The Mist, The Body Serum together with The Body Creme were applied and massage into neck and shoulder to infuses the skin with sumptuous moisture, helping break the cycle of dryness and dehydration...i enjoyed her massage especially the neck & shoulder massage as its really 'mashyukkkkkk'!!! seriously!!!
badan je petite, but ghurl...she has a strong hands!!!

then before finishing off, she had this "body fox" thingy which i dont know whats the exact purpose is...hehhehe
she said to gv back the energy to my tired body yada yada...

then before i went off, both of us sat down and she explained to me ape yg die gune and the function of each...

so from all of the above, i supposed u can guess it whether i enjoyed my 1st facial experience or not...
remember i said that i dont want those facial yg "ouch ouch" ade "extraction" and all...

so this one conforms to my searching...totally relaxing!!!
