hey there dudettes...

i am officially PAID all my PUASA GANTI!!!

bravoooo!!! (kunun kasi chance la kan)

yeap! yesterday was the last day...so kire toady raya for me la...hehehehe...sangat last minute kan...huhuhu...nways, due to happy sangat dpt cover all the puasa last year, so mlm semalam after buka puasa i decided to do some baking for my office mate...just a feast before the puasa next week aswell...browsing thru my cabinet i decided to bake kek batik & honey cornflakes...pergh ambitiuos tue nak buat sampai 2 recipes in one night...so belasah la kan...oh n since mr.doc was bz with his trading, so i can have all the time to myself................

so here is our 1st recipe of the day!

KEK BATIK

what u need???

a packet of biscuit marie

a tin of condense milk

2 tins of warm water

a cup of milo

5 packets of 3-1 nescafe mixture

6 eggs

250gm buttercup

how to do it???

Mix the condense milk, warm water, milo and nescafe and stir it well.

Heat them up on a medium heat.

While waiting for the mixture to heat up, whisk up the eggs untill its fluffy.

Then pour it in the mixture and stir it until pekat.

Add in the buttercup, stir and let it in for about 5 minutes...put the mixture aside to let it cool for awhile...(if its still hot mase tuang into the biscuits, the biscuits will get soggy..kureng sedap)

Line up the biscuit marie in a pan...U can even brake the marie into pieces for more compact kek batik...

(some other people love it when the biscuits is mix together before pouring it into a pan...but i prefer to separate it coz i like it crunchy kek batik instead of soft soggy kek batik...well depends on individual ei)

Pour in the mixture onto the biscuit and press it gently...

then refrigerate it to let it cool

n wallahhhhhh...the outcome............................

HONEY CORNFLAKES
very the very simpleeeeeee...

what u need???

a box of cornflakes

a cup of honey

vanilla essence

250gm of buttercup

papercups

colourful sprinklers

how to do???

melt the buttercup and drop a few drops of vanilla essence...then put it aside to cool it down for awhile...

pour in the honey and stir it well

heat up ur oven ar 150degC

mix the cornflakes with the butter / honey mixture

scoop it into the papercups...

tips - use tablespoon to scoop into the papercups, much easier

sprinkles the sprinklers to add some colours to it!

bake it for about 10 to 15 minutes and

Yeap…as promised…so here goes…

I stepped into the working world end of 2003 at the age of 23…in the early year, I have been indulging my hard earned salary for shoes, clothing, make-ups, and especially handbags…I blame it to my working placement which is under one of malaysia’s best shopping center…but at that point of time, designer handbags wasn’t my league…maybe because am still new in the working world, so not enough money maaaaa that time…hahhaha…so for about a year, I was satisfied with just an average label / branded bags…

Then came September 2005…one of my job description requires me to travel depending on project requirement…thus as part of the project I’m attached to at that point of time, required me to go to Italy, specifically Florence (Firenze) for 3 weeks…so off I went embracing Italy with my all-men-project-mate…

1st day arrival in Florence I noticed that there is an advertisement for a shuttle bus service to

….than that’s it! “I’m taking the next shuttle”…muahahahha kiasu takkkk!

so I dragged two of my male colleague for that 30minutes-shuttle drive from Florence to this green Tuscan hills…reaching The Mall, from afar it doesn’t look like a Mall for me…when I was about to be disappointed, the bus stopped and through the window I noticed………………………..ARMANI…BURBERRY…PUCCI…and I looked further to spot FENDI…TOD’S….at that time I was like…goshhh…thanx god for giving me the opportunity...trus semangat waja nak shopping…huhuhuhu…but still tak brape confident on the price…as everything is in euro…but mase tu ber’tekad’ gonna bring atleast a piece from there…

Oh and the ambiance was kindda weird for me…the architecture of the building is modern, innovative and solid design with a combination of countryside…but seriously, I couldn’t care less…

this premium outlet is kindda small but enough to hold top Italian luxury brands ie.alexander mcqueen, bonttega veneta, burberry, zegna, fendi, Gucci, la perla, pucci, Salvatore ferragamo, tod’s, velentino and YSL…just to name a few…

this is the only picture i sempat snap...that guy with the green wind-breaker is one of my friend, wan suzainan...bz shopping sangat till terlupe nak snappo ;p

I went through all the boutique, but spend most of the time at fendi, ferragamo and Gucci…

seriously memang boley naik sheikhhhh shopping kat sinie…imagine Gucci man’s wallet cost 60euro je…which equivalent to tak sampai pon rm300!!! Zegna men’s shoe at 70euro! And I noticed ade this Gucci baby shoes in leather cost 80euro…I was like “nasib baik takde baby lagie”…if not mmg rembat trus…hehehhehe…

and the best part for us woman is the price for the handbags………………………….

this piece really caught my eyes from the moment I saw it…it came in blue n purple (which matched with casual jeans), but I chose pink instead coz it is soooooooooo sweet n yes, its gorgeous!

btw...that season, vanity bag was considered as the IT bag…slalu drool over jlo toting her larger-version-of-vanity in blue n purple (I still remember lagie, but dont hv the pic) and

I love it for the design utmost as its very chic n elegant…aswell as for its soft lamb leather…oh ya n becoz the design comes with mirror…hehehe………bet u guys wanna know how much does it cost right???

(though I don’t really recall any of my handbag’s price, but this piece is an exception…coz I still have the price tag in the dust bag ;p hehehe)...Ok here goes….

(equals to RM3825 – currency conversion at that time was 4.5)…

Outlet price – EURO 298

(equals to RM1341)!!! mind u that this figure tak tolak VAT lagie tau ;)

For me, this piece is a good bargain coz I have been adoring it for quite sometime, n are now under my adoption……and yes……….I saved………………….RM2.5k for it!!! ;)

i can say that i am satisfied with this piece n it has been my companion to formal function for quite a number of times already, and counting...

so last saturday, after getting a quotation for my shoe cabinet at k.i.a.n.c.l.a.s.s.i.c in cheras, i dragged mr.doc to g.r.e.a.t.e.a.s.t.e.r.n.m.a.l.l to get my couture...while waiting, the SA mentioned that there are new arrivals specifially for raya edition...

terase la mengada2 nak browse thru kannnnn....

truth is, flipping thru it was so hard darling...y u may ask............

and i caught my eyes on this piece.......so sweet...and best part is...mr.doc yang for all this while is not game for any pink-y stuff, said that the piece is beautiful n pretty!

while driving, i cant keep my mind from that beautiful kaftan...i decided to give my cousin a call...if she is able to give discounts, then i'll defintely get it...so thats my benchmark in aquiring it...

to my surprise....she did!!! 20%!!!
